Information for speakers

Talk format and duration
- Our rooms have very limited whiteboard space. You should plan to deliver your talk using slides (e.g. PDF or PowerPoint).
- Standard talks will be 20 minutes in length, with 5 minutes for questions and 5 minutes for changeover.
- Keynote talks are allocated two consecutive timeslots; the use of that time is at the discretion of the session chair(s).
Whiteboard space
- Our rooms have very limited whiteboard space. You should plan to deliver your talk using slides (e.g. PDF or PowerPoint).
- The whiteboards are suitable for small additions such as when answering questions or writing short formulas.
- The whiteboards are not suitable for delivering a full talk.
What to bring
- Bring a copy of your slides (e.g. on a USB stick).
- If you wish to use a laser pointer/clicker, please bring your own.
- If you intend to use your computer to connect to the projector, please note that our rooms are equipped with HDMI cables only. If you require another port (e.g. USB-C) please bring your own HDMI adaptor.
We will supply
- Whiteboard markers and erasers for each room.
