AustMS is not affiliated with any booking services, and any unsolicited messages regarding accommodation should be considered fraudulent. Do not respond to these requests. Always book and communicate directly with your hotel or Airbnb.

Conference location

The 69th AustMS meeting will be held at the Bundoora campus of La Trobe University, located on the corner of Plenty Road and Kingsbury Drive.

Transportation

A myki card is needed to travel on Melbourne's public transport network. This is a reusable card that must be topped up with credit and touched on and off at the start and end of each trip. Visit Public Transport Victoria for more information.


The PTV Journey Planner can be used to organise your trips and check timetables.

Parking requires payment from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm. Outside of those hours, parking is free. Visit the La Trobe car parking page for more information.


It is recommended to enter via the North Entry (ref E6) off Kingsbury Drive and park in CP1 or CP2.

There are two named bus stops inside the campus:

The campus is a short walk from there. 

If travelling by train, you will need to take a connecting bus:

  • If using the Mernda line, stop at Reservoir and take bus 561.
  • If using the Hurstbridge line, stop at Heidelberg and take bus 551.

Bikes may be taken on trains free of charge.
